Portrait WIP

I thought I had better get back here before you got bored!
Got a new computer so have been downloading and sorting out.

This is a WIP of a photograph of a Painting Friend Forum
member. Sandra's Grandaughter. It is a pastel portrait.

This painting, cropped, at the top of my blog, is a full size
watercolour, 30" x 22" piece of Arches paper. I really enjoy painting
on a big scale with big brushes. I like to stand up and let the paint flow!

First Post

My first post! trying to find my way around blogging.
I'm sure I will make many mistakes and soon be looking
for advice.

This small painting was done a little while ago.
It is a painting of my son, when he was around 8 years old.
Done in watercolour. It is not an exact likeness, but not too bad!
